TESTING FOR ALCOHOL CONCENTRATIONS IN YOUR BREATH
All CDL drivers musts be in a pool for Alcohol testing.
Saliva Alcohol Testing
Saliva alcohol test for zero tolerance alcohol testing 0.02 blood alcohol content. Employee alcohol test. Random alcohol testing. Workplace alcohol testing easy to use and read disposable test strips.
DOT APPROVED–is so effective that it has been tested and approved by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for required testing of all transportation and safety sensitive employees for blood alcohol concentrations above the federally mandated zero tolerance level of 0.02%.
This alcohol testing is one-step saliva-screening test that works in a clean, non-invasive manner and provides results in 4 minutes. Simply wet the test pad with saliva and wait 4 minutes. The development of a line on the test pad at 4 minutes indicates a blood alcohol concentration exceeding 0.02%.
Saliva alcohol test is intended for use as a rapid, highly sensitive method to detect the presence of alcohol substance in saliva and to provide a semi-quantitative approximation of blood alcohol concentration.
For applications where a quantitative determination of blood alcohol concentration is required, a positive the result must be verified using an acceptable quantitative alcohol procedure. Qualified professional musts perform these tests.
Urine Alcohol Testing
EtG is a direct metabolite of alcohol (ethanol). Its presence in urine may be used to detect recent ethanol ingestion, even after ethanol is no longer measurable. The presence of EtG in urine is an indicator that ethanol was ingested and can be detected in urine for up to 80 hours after ingestion. EtG is only evident when ethanol is ingested and is not produced as a result of fermentation. In addition to EtG, recent scientific studies have identified ethyl sulfate (EtS) as a second specific metabolite or bio-marker of ethanol. For this reason, RTL tests and reports EtS, in conjunction with EtG, to confirm recent ethanol ingestion or exposure. The detection of EtG and EtS offers greater sensitivity and accuracy for determination of recent ethanol ingestion, than by detection of either bio-marker alone.
This test is used for quantization of alcohol level for medical or legal purposes as well as to diagnose alcohol intoxication and determine appropriate therapy; detect alcoholism and to monitor ethanol treatment for methanol intoxication.
Significant deviations from the normal range may require further evaluation by your physician at a lab
